We warmly invite you to the exhibition opening on October 17, which will offer a fascinating look into the world of poppy as food, hemp as food and textile crops, and introduce you to the world of other plants and mushrooms such as coca, kratom, tobacco, ephedra, and psilocybin mushrooms. All these crops and plants have their legal uses, but often, especially globally, illegal uses as well.
At the opening, you will be able to:

  • Learn about the history, cultivation, and use of these plants in the food industry, medicine, and industry, or their misuse as addictive substances.
  • Meet experts in agriculture, the food industry, medicine, and drug issues, and ask them your questions.
  • Attend expert lectures, food blogs, and particularly the stands of individual institutions dealing with these issues.
  • Participate in tastings of culinary specialties made from poppy and hemp, either as part of the FoodBlog in the tasting areas of the NZM or at some of the stands.

The opening is intended for students, especially high school students, professionals, and the general public.
